Welcome to the Forum skellon,
Did you had a procedure and experienced shockloss?
If you lost a mass of hair 2 weeks-2 month after the surgery it can be shockloss, Don't panic...most of them will grow back. if it happened 2- 8 months post-op surgery then it can be that you are experiencing accaleration of hair loss on some areas of your head...it is not necessary shockloss.
The only way to avoid shockloss is to have the hair transplant procedure done with an experienced surgeon who knows what he is doing. Shockloss is very rare and is one of the risks one have to consider before doing hair transplant,
It can happened if the surgeon is too aggressive or transplanting into areas with exising natural hairs, those hairs are meant to fall in the future and the shockloss accelerate the fall out.
Taking Propecia or Minoxidill before the procedure and after can prevent shockloss.
You can use toppik or dermatech to cover the thinning areas.
