Application of Cole multiplication to other cells?

Dear All,

Could the miroscopic dissection of the hair follicle used in Hair multiplication be applyied, at least in theory, to other body parts? Say the root of a tooth for example, to allow for tooth multiplication? I am presupposing that 'root' cells in both cases are simmalr if not identical of course...

Just interested

What you say of course is quite right, there is a disanalogy between pulling a hair from its follicle (leaving in place what we need to grow a hair) and pulling a tooth (Which does not)

But an extracted tooth can still re-establish itself if it is re-implanted, so I guess its fair to say that it is a bit like a Fu in this sense. I think cosmetic dentists probaly do this sort of thing a lot to give patient a nice smile by moving the teeth into a better place? Has anyone ever tryed splitting a tooth down its root in an attempt to get both halves to grow?

NV

I accept that few 'models' would want to offer themselves for this type of experiment!
