This patient had a STRIP surgery of 1330 grafts performed by Dr. Cole in 2004. Because of this individual’s limited hair loss, the team was able to dense pack the grafts to fill in the frontal hairline and temple areas.
Due to some progressive loss, the staff recently did a small FIT procedure of 69 grafts for some fine tuning. About 40% of patients will find that a single session of hair restoration meets their goals. In other words, most patients will typically need more than a single pass. While this reality may be discouraging it is important to note that the results of this first pass are quite excellent. Unless a patient a) looses more hair or b) wishes to lower his hairline significantly, the second pass is almost always going to require fewer grafts than the first. |
