Hallo to every1
I'm a new user Wink
and I am appraising the possibility to effect a fue session with dr.Cole.
Before however, I wanted to know two things about the post-op:
1 - later how many days from the surgery is it possible to restart to apply the minoxidil?and to that percentage?
2 - later how many days from the surgery is it possible to trim with the beard blade the whole head (recipient too)?and for the clipper at aprox. 3mm?

These questions are very important for me to understand when I can effect the transplantation, I thank you in advance for the attention Very Happy

Welcome kheops,

Patients should stop minoxidil several days before surgery , minxodil may make the blood vessels wider and by that increase bleeding, therefor i will recommend to wait 1 week after the procedure before resuming it to avoid the irritating effects of its alcohol and propylene glycol base.
during this time i recommend using the Hair Cycle biotin spray and the shampoo for faster healing, these products also contain anagen stimulators and DHT inhibitors and can protect you from not using minox.

If you plan to use minoxidil for a limited period of time or plan to discontinue after your surgery then i recommend to stop using it several months prior to your surgery, the reason is that if you will experience significant amount of hair loss it may be accounted for in the surgical plan.

As for your second question, it is a good question...i will give you my opinion but i will suggest to also hear what the doctors on this forum have to say because i am not sure that my answer is 100% correct.
healing very from one patient to the other.
Normally it is safe to remove scabs 8 days post-op surgery, with HairCycle we found that it goes down to 2 days. therefore, i see no reason why you can't cut your hair 1-2 weeks after surgery...
