Below are photos that depict the progress of a patient who’s goal was to conceal a strip scar. The scar was Scars repair is frequently performed at our clinic. At our clinic, this common procedure is done via CIT, a minimally invasive surgery. It is very effective for adding density into strip (FUT) scars. This patient received 80 grafts into the strip scar and the follow-up results are at 8 months and 2 years post-op. Scars usually require more than one session and often times growth into scars are unpredictable due to lacking blood supply.

This is just another example of how patients can heal after a strip procedure. Some patients heal well and some heal poorly regardless of the surgeon. Now this patient has more confidence in having a shorter hair style.

Hi Macklin,

This is the result after one grafting session. The patient received 80 grafts into the strip scar to minimize the appearance of the scar. Sometimes strip scars can require more than one grafting session to increase density without compromising the yield of the procedure.

I have the exact same problem he did...wow! his hair is buzzed short like I want mine...if I get brave enough to get that procedure and get those results first time out I am officially the luckiest man on the planet...it's like the scar was never there! I realize results that good are not typical but this example is warming me up to this idea...thank you for checking in on it and your response Very Happy
