I have had 4 prior hair transplants with multiple different physicians due to poor outcome, bad placement, large pitted units in the front, horrible huge scar. I almost gave up on transplantation, I thought, why can't mine look like all those pics you see on the internet and TV?
Now, it seems it can!
Here are my pics before surgery with Dr Cole, and 6 months later...
Allow me to point out 2 things:
1. The front hair line IS thinner, but it is more natural in appearance by far[I had multiple large pitted units in the front hairline that were hidious].
2. The scar!!! Wow, what a difference!
-I had this large hypertrophic red scar that was about a half inch wide across the back of my head that could be seen from several feet away. I had to use make-up and keep my hair long and avoid swimming and rain [transparent when wet].
-Now the scar is normal skin color [the redness is almost completely gone] and there is a decent amount of hair growing there. I was able to use clippers to cut my hair for the first time in 2 years! Albeit the largest blade, but I am still stoked!
*My next procedure is scheduled in a few months to remove the rest of the bad units and increase the front hairline density as well as place more units into my scar. Dr Cole and his staff are amazing, thank you!!! |
